Guide for seniors to earn rewards and save money in 2020
By: Micah Lambert | April 3, 2020>
Those reaching the senior citizen's age demographic are welcomed into a whole new world of discounts, rewards, perks, and deals. Thousands of restaurants, retailers, and travel companies around the country are offering senior discounts that will help senior citizens earn more bang for their buck. This begs the question, at what age are you officially considered a senior citizen? The answer varies according to the source. Typically, though, people over 55 are considered part of the senior citizen age demographic, with 65 being the most common retirement age. That being said, anyone over the age of 50 can become an AARP member (the American Association of Retired Persons), an organization that partners with companies across the country to provide great deals and services to their members.
This year, why not take advantage of senior discounts on National Grandparents Day? National Grandparents Day is always celebrated on the Sunday after Labor Day. This year it is Sunday, September 13th. Treat your children and grandchildren to a special meal, trip, or activity to celebrate. Or better yet, let them treat you! We have compiled a list of amazing stores, restaurants, travel deals and more to help you and your loved ones get the most out of this special season of life without compromising quality.
